Complete NFPA-110 Section 8.3.6.1 Requirements

NFPA-110 Section 8.3.6.1 standard for maintaining Emergency and Standby Power Systems calls for the maintenance of lead-acid batteries, including the monthly testing and recording of electrolyte-specific gravity (when applicable or warranted) or Battery Conductance Testing.

Through our correlation studies, we have developed algorithms that correlate conductance to the many different starting battery ratings.  Midtronics found that there are optimal test frequencies for stationary batteries that differ from test frequencies that are optimal for an engine start battery.
